Meet Dr. Hana T. Lim, DMD

Background and Education

Dr. Lim was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and a Minor in Music. She then moved to Utah, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Lim returned to Seattle to complete a 1-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the University of Washington before moving to Washington, DC to complete her training at Howard University Hospital.

Clinical Interests

Her interests include all dentoalveolar procedures such as extractions and implants, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and maxillofacial trauma.

Professional Memberships

Throughout her dental education and career, Dr. Lim was active in organized dentistry and held numerous leadership positions. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and the Hawaii Dental Association.

Outside the Office

Dr. Lim is excited to return to her hometown and is eager to serve the people of Hawaii. During her time off, Dr. Lim enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, traveling, cooking new recipes, and playing tennis.
